Description

He is responsible for the extra-curricular programs by developing an integrated annual plan that accommodates the students’ desires and conforms to their tendencies and hobbies and hones their skills in the cultural, social, sports, scouting and student clubs without conflicting with academic activity and times of collection and study, and fulfills its responsibilities towards male and female students in accordance with university regulations.

1- General supervision of all units and sections of the department.
2- Laying out the internal system of work in the administration, defining the terms of reference and general description of the duties of its employees, and how to coordinate between its affiliated units.
3- Determining the regulations, instructions, conditions and mechanisms for student enrollment in activities.
4- Addressing the relevant authorities within the university regarding the competence and scope of the administration’s work
5- Examining the difficulties or problems facing the success of the workflow and proposing solutions to them.
6- Submitting periodic reports to the Vice Dean of Student Affairs on the progress of work in the administration in accordance with the tasks assigned to him, and the difficulties it faces.
7- Supervising the implementation and diversification of student activities programs at the university in accordance with university regulations.
8- Arranging and supervising the closing ceremony of activities and participation in the graduation ceremony.
9- Participation in national events, international days and conferences
10- Implement the rules and regulations approved by the Activities Department.
11- Approve plans and budgets for each department in the management of student activities and submit them to the authorized person.
12- Supervises securing the administration's needs of equipment, equipment and operational requirements.
13- Submit annual reports on the performance of the administration and the activities carried out by the authorized person.
14- He proposes training and qualification plans for all employees of the administration in order to ensure the success of the work in coordination with the authorized person.
15- Assigns a staff member of the administration to delegate and supervise external programs and private participations in accordance with the regulations.
16- The employees of the administration are nominated to attend training courses related to work outside and inside the university and are approved by the authority.
17- Follow up the implementation of the management plan approved by the Deanship.
18- Approval of the ordinary and emergency leave for the employees of the administration.
19- evaluating the performance of the administration’s employees directly affiliated to him
20- Executing the other work assigned to him by the Vice Dean of Student Affairs for student activities.
