The Scout Units of Najran University ended the preliminary study for boy scout units with the participation of 50 Scouts from Najran University, Najran Department of Education, General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training and Youth Scout House. The focus of the study, which was held in the University City has lasted for two days, was on the introduction, objectives, principles, of the Scout Movement and means of organizing the Scouting movement. Besides, it  provided a brief overview of the history of the Scouts, the concept  of the Scout oath and  law,  the practice of scouting traditions and  formations,  morning visits, flag-raising and the method of camping and other skills. Such preliminary study aimed to attract new leaders for the scout movement. At the end of the preliminary study, the Vice Rector for Development and Quality Dr. Yahya Al-Hefedhi awarded certificates and shields for participants.
