About the Grant Agency:
It is the department concerned with serving all regular non-Saudi students studying at the university at all university levels
Grant definition:
It is the academic seat that a non-Saudi student (male or female) obtains to study in higher education institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Types of scholarships:
The scholarships are divided into two parts:
Internal grants for students residing in the Kingdom with regular residence.
External scholarships for students from outside the Kingdom.
Grants are with partial or free benefits, or paid for, according to the rules organized by the educational institution’s council, in a way that does not conflict with these controls.
Grants Agency Duties:
Drawing the internal policies of the administration to provide the best services to scholarship students and achieve the vision and mission of the Grants and Development Agency, and then the vision and mission of the university.
Preparing executive regulations for scholarship students.
Preparing a comprehensive database for grant students to be a reference on which decisions are based.
Recommending a percentage of the number of scholarship students and their nationalities annually in accordance with the university’s vision and the recommendations of the Ministry of Education, and determining the admission mechanisms.
Completing the necessary procedures for students nominated to study after the approval of the Ministry of Education.
Coordination and cooperation with the relevant university authorities to facilitate scholarship students in following up their transactions, procedures and services provided to them.
Follow up on the issuance of regular residence for scholarship students and their university numbers.
Follow-up on the housing and subsistence of grant students, disbursement of their financial dues, travel tickets, exit and return visas every year, and final exit visas at the end of the grant.
Supervising the sponsorship of scholarship students during their studies.
Supervising the university's charitable fund to support grant programs, and proposing its regulations and structure.
Encouraging distinguished scholarship students financially and morally and giving them the opportunity to participate in the various media outlets in the Kingdom.
Presenting the necessary visions and perceptions to develop the educational system for scholarship students in a way that motivates the agency’s vision.
